Transportation for older citizens to the doctor, grocery store, and necessary errands provided through volunteers.
Escort clients call HandsOn Texarkana to arrange for rides. Volunteers are then contacted and given details for transportation.
To be eligible for assistance the person must be 60 years of age or older or disabled; lower income; and have no other means of transportation.
Volunteer drivers are not required to accommodate wheelchairs.
